How to Pick a Flattering Cropped Jumpsuit

Wide leg Jumpsuit, Who What Wear Jumpsuit, Cropped Jumpsuit, Palm Print Jumpsuit, Target Jumpsuit

The Cropped Jumpsuit is an ultra flattering and feminine body that is everywhere this season. The body is reminiscent of the 50’s fit and flare dress with its fitted bodice and full leg. The few I have (I literally cannot stop buying them) are lightweight, flowy, and breathable, which is perfect for hot summer days.  They can be dressed up or down depending on which way you want to where them. I love pairing mine with either heels or White canvas sneakers.

How to Pick a Flattering Cropped Jumpsuit

  •  Regular tank straps that allow you to wear a normal bra will be the most comfortable.
  • A v-neck or round neck is ideal because this neckline is flattering on all bodies.
  • The key to flattering is showing off your shape up top with A fitted bodice, a waist belt, or elastic at the waist.  Proportions should be Loose up top baggy on bottom or vice versa…always! I don’t buy into trends – I buy into flattering pieces.
  • The cropped wide-leg looks great on all bodies (I specifically love them on me because I have muscular legs) the key is for the cropped pant to be hemmed at the right spot. If you are petite, you will need to have your pants altered or places like Anthropologie & Loft do everything in Petite Sizes, which is great. If you are tall, most pant hems can be let down 1-2”.  The ideal spot for the hem to hit when cropped is right where the calf starts to slim down to the ankle. Check out my blog post on printed wide legged pants.
