And I cannot wait because I am not ready to say goodbye to embroidery!

When this trend first started early last year, many were reluctant to jump on the bandwagon. However, It is still a current trend moving forward into 2017 fall and winter, so if you want to try it out, now is the time! You will see embroidery continue on whimsical dresses, military jackets (which I am currently coveting), chambray shirts, denim pants, and accessories like shoes and purses.

The reason I adore this trend is embroidery brings a bit more color and interest to normal, casual pieces and that makes me happy! Earlier in the spring, I talked about my favorite embroidered denim jacket here. I wore it through spring/summer with so many things and plan to continue wearing it this fall with darker colors.

In my mind, while it is still summer, at least for the next couple of weeks, I am trying to wear my summer embroidered pieces till I no longer can and this dress is one of my faves! The embroidery makes it look much more expensive than the actual $24 that it cost-love when that happens! The colors are bright and vibrant. The fit and style of the dress allows for my baby bump to wear it because it is loose, slightly a-lined, and flowy. Win-Win!

I paired it with nude wedges, a bright colorful bag that I have had for years (similar here),Retro Sunnies, a simple gold choker and my favorite white tassel earrings from Stella & Dot.

How do you feel about this trend moving forward!?!?

Thanks for reading lovelies!

  1. This is such a beautiful trend! I haven’t bought anything yet with the embroidered look so it’s good to hear it’s continuing!
