We all want to look seasonally appropriate, especially when the season’s change but when the weather doesn’t go along with the change, it gets a bit annoying. Am I the only one who feels like the weather is never right? Its usually too warm, not cool enough, too wet, or too humid! During seasons change, Many of my clients and friends ask my advice on how to dress for the season when the weather isnt particularily agreeable! For instance, Dressing Fall in 90 degrees is quite painful. Here are three easy steps to use when getting dressed each day. This will hopefully take to stress off of you each morning when your head says “It’s fall” but your body says, “Nah-Its still summer suga!” Best news of all – if you follow these steps, you wont be sweating your booty off underneath all those fall layers that I promise, we will all get to wear soon enough!
1) STORE YOUR bright or embellished sandals because they will just take up space in your closet and you should not be wearing them. You should however keep out any sandals that are animal print or all black or tan here. Then bring out your seasonally appropriate shoes (I don’t mean Uggs or Knee Boots) Booties, Athleisure Shoes, Ballet Flats, and Mules are all seasonally appropriate shoes that you can wear to make your clothes seem more fall-like, Animal Print anything is great here.

Things to wear that take you from season to season, military green anything like a jumpsuit, jacket, or skirt. Striped shirts, tanks, dresses. Denim tops and bottoms. Floral patterns that have fall colors in them that are summer body styles, you get the picture!

3) PAIR ONE summer piece with one fall piece like I did with the smocked top (fall) from Anthropologie and my denim agolde (summer) shorts. Other Similar pairings, Denim with a Tank top from Summer, A short sleeve above the knee dress with a military jacket tied around your waist. Or if you have any striped dress, or rich hued dress pair it with a more fall appropriate shoe and your good to go!
